1992 Press Photo Stevens County Emergency Personnel Unload Lakeside Student

Stevens County emergency personnel unload a Lakeside High School student from a School bus that collided with a pick-up truck on Fidder Rd., near Suncrest. The girl was not seriously hurt in the Tuesday afternoon accident. About 50 students from Lakeside H.S. and Lake Spokane Elementary School were on the bus at the time of the accident. The driver of the truck, Randall Rose, was not injured. He said he met the bus on a corner, and because of ice, could not get out of the way. Another school bus came a took the students home. A student suffered head and neck injuries when a school bus carrying about 50 Nine Mile Falls students collided with a pickup Wednesday on Kidder Road near Suncrest north of Spokane. The injured girl was treated and released at Holy Family Hospital.
