Gen. Frank Lowe (left), for 10 months President Truman's "eyes and ears" in Korea, helps Sgt. Vincente Dialo, of Philippines, clear a jammed calibre .50 machine gun. Gen. Lowe told in Jim G. Lucas, staff writer for the Scripps-Howard newspapers that some of his personal reports to the president which might have prevented break with Gen. MacArthur never reached Truman.
