In photo at right, bowlers Bonnie Hastings (left) and Dixie Arpin of Portland insert team scorecard into glass prism of master unit of automatic scorer at Jantzen Beach Lanes, first house in Oregon to install the electronic computers. In left photo, Mike Murphy, assistant manager at Jantzen, pushes lever to his name on bowler identification panel, thus freeing pinrake and allowing him to bowl. Note old telescore unit at Murphy's left with sign reading, I'm A Has Been, Machines go into league use Monday.
