1942 Press Photo Four Alarm Fire Destroys Coal Wharf in Boston Massachusetts

Description
Damage estimated at $500,000 was caused in the fire. Virtually 100,000 tons of coal piled high on the wharf was saved by Coast Guardsmen and firemen who battled the blaze from land and water.
