Gwendolyn Armour 6 years old daughter of Philip D. Armour one of the Riches Families in America. Gwendolyn died at her father's home, 1200 Lake shore drive at 3:45 in the morning of March 23rd. Ten Doctors and Four Nurses had been a her side throughout the night. Caused of death was Septicaemia a form of blood poisoning following a throat infection which began about a week previous. The entire family was at the bedside. The Police Department placed barriers across lake shore drive and detoured all traffic for a block surrounding the Armour home.
