Jousting down in Somerset. Battling - with swords.: Jousting between knights armed with lances and swords will be seen in Britain again soon after 125 years. Seven top point-to-point Horsemen will "do battle" at the Elizabethan Montacute House, Yeovil, Somerset on June 27th. It is part of the £2,500 one-day sports tournament to be run by the National Trust. Complete with chain mail armour - "Knights" were to be seen in training for the big events - yesterday. Photo shows Liet. Michael Goodboy - and Lieut. ralph Cowdy - "do battle" with swords - after their Jousting contest - at Yeovil - yesterday.
