Royal Naval Survival At Sea Trials.: Officers and Ratings of the Royal Navy took part in survival at Sea Trials - in Portland Harbour today - in which a variety of survival rafts were tested as a preliminary to Mid-Ocean trials to be held next year. Photo shows Volunteers seen in a Naval Inflatable survival raft trailing a solar-still which extracts fresh water from sea water - during the tests at Portland today.
