Naval Airman and his wife win £1,300 jackpot. Record 'Jackpot' on T.V. in Britain.: Twenty seven year old Bob Hayness a naval airman - and his twenty one year old wife Jean - last night won £1,300 jackpot n the Commercial T.V. "Best the Clock" competition - in thirty seven seconds. That was the length of time they took to get four tennis balls - thrown by Mrs. Hayness - into a fous tiered box. This represents the British record "Jackpot" on T.V. Photo shows Bob and Mrs. Haynes after their success last night.
