Nordling made Honorary of Paris - he saved France's Capital from destruction during the war: M. Nordling, ex-Swedish Consul to Paris, who prevailed upon the Germans not to destroy Paris as they were retreating in August 1944, was made honorary citizen of the Capital during a ceremony held at the Town Hall today. Photo shows M. Nordling (left) holding the diploma handed to him by M. Vigier (right) Chairman of the Paris Municipal Council.
