Sorcerers'' trail in Zurich: ''Sorcerers'' trial which took place in May 1966, a 17 year old girl Bernadetter Hasl, died in a chalet near Zurich. Now five men and and a women are in court accused of beating the girl to death to rid her of what the indictment calls ''alleged links with the devil Lucifer'' The accused are all members of a religious sect the International Family Community for the Furtherance of Peace. Among the accused are a defrocked German priest, Joseph Stocker, and Mary Magdalen Kohler, who is also German and who together consider themselves the ''holy father and mother of the sect''. Three of the other accused are brothers. The wife of one of them and the mother of another have been testifying in court to their continued confidence in the sect and their conviction that the beatings to exercise the devil are justified. Photo shows the three brothers Barmettler seen on their way to court in Zurich.
