Caption: Houston, Texas - Air Force Captain Joe B. Jordon, holder of the World's Altitude record, is shown being greeted by his petite wife, Dolores, and their 7 month old daughter, Charlene. He arrived at International Airport here yesterday enroute to Sweeny, Texas, for the Christmas Holidays. Jordan flew nearly 20 miles high in an Air Force Starfighter December 14,1959, to set the new record.
