1974 Press Photo Point Pelee Park Ontario Canada Marsh

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Caption: Point Pelee is one of Canada's smallest national parks, located at the southernmost tip of Canada. It's a bird-watching paradise and is one of the last large fresh-water marshes left. It has a trackless train to take visitors through the woods to the tip of the point. The picture shows a bicycle rider pedaling along the boardwalk in the Pelee marsh.
