Description
Caption: LUTZ, FLA., Jan. 26--PITCHER TURNED PAINTER--Joey Jay, the right-handed twirler and switch-hitter traded from the Milwaukee Braves to the Cincinnati Red Legs last winter, keeps his pitching arm in shape painting his home while waiting for spring training to open. Jay, who had a 9-8 season with the Braves, is a busy man on his farm near Tampa--looking after 6,500 White Leghorn chickens and a large orange grove. The 26-year old pitcher's wife and four children, currently living in the Cigar City, will join him when enlargement of the farm home is completed early in February.
