Caption: Grand Rapids ? Andy Horujko, a 50-year-old unmarried farmer from Chase, Michigan who walked 15,000 miles to protest pollution, returned to his hometown near here Thursday to write a book about his adventures. Horujko says he hasn?t driven a car since 1936. He began his anti-pollution journey in Anchorage, Alaska in March 1970. Nearly two years and fifteen pairs of specially made boots later, Horujko ended his epic trek last December in Tierra del Fuego, Chile, near the tip of South America.
