Description
Caption: WAP-Q33103 3/31/62 WASHINGTON. Rep. Edgar W. Hiestand, R-Calif., a memeber of the John Birch Society, defends it at a news conference here 3/31 as an anti-Communist group. He said he would welcome a congressional investigation. But he rejected a call by the society's founder, Robert H. Welch Jr., for the impeachment of Chief Justice Earl Warren.
