Sure, it was fine for 63 years. But now your constituents want something newer. They want to live in Eastpointe. And they will, starting July 1. On that day, the city will host parties, a raffle and the unveiling of three new signs proclaiming "City of Eastpointe - Gateway to Macomb County."Below: Novelties bear the new city name. Businesses have spent thousands of dollars making the changeover; most support the move.
