Caption: Minneapolis, Minn., Oct. 1, 1968--One Way Ticket--Norm Van Brocklin, former coach of the National Football League Minnesota Vikings, holds up his airline ticket tuesday at the Minneapolis airport just before leaving for Atlanta, Ga., to take over as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. He was named head coach Tuesday, succeeding Norb Hecker. Van Brocklin was quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles before being named Viking Coach in 1961. He left Minnesota in 1966 after dispute with quarterback Fran Tarkenton.
