This is a general view of the Confessional Altar in St. Peter's Basilica, in Vatican City, Rome, Italy. The Vatican radio without confirming or denying reports that St. peter's bones have been found, has urged faithful Catholics to await a "great revelation" by the Holy Sec, concerning the tomb of St. Peter. The New York Times reported that the bones of St. Peter were understood to have been found less than 20 feet below the Confessional Altar or the Main Altar.
