Pix of Frank O'Dell - Playing his first year of football in Whitman, O'Dell started the season as guard, but injuries in the lineup moved him over to tackle where he had been doing a commendable job. A graduate of Walla Walla high school, O'Dell served in the Navy, played spring football at W.S.C., and came to Whitman to draw a starting berth on the grid team. Although he was held back by an injured ankle, O'Dell will be in the fracas Thanksgiving Day in Walla Walla against the powerful Willamette Bearcats.
