1948 Press Photo Conventional round metal floats for shark nets used by Argo

Description
Among surplus war equipment being converted to use by fishermen here are thousands of steel oxygen tanks which were used to supply airmen at high altitudes. Above is shown the conventional round metal floats for shark nets and the converted oxygen tanks. All of these floats are used by the Astoria fishing vessel Argo.
