Description
Mysterious Maryhill is shown here from the vineyards at the rear of the castle. Vineyards planted according to the wish of Samuel Hill. The building was first started in 1913 as a home for Builder HIll and as a place to entertain King Albert of Belgium, schoolmate and lifetime friend of Hill's. the king's projected visit was cancelled due to the world war, and in 1922 Hill decided to turn it into a museum.
