Description
Usinger's Expansion Project--Preliminary work is under way on a $2.5 million expansion project by Usinger's Famous Sausage. The new building will be directly south of the Usinger plant at 1030 North Third street, just north of State Street. The addition will use less than half of the vacant land at that corner. The rest will become a paved and landscaped public parking lot for about 40 cars, according to Edward W. Wenzler, of the architectural firm of William Wenzler and Associates, 205 West Highland Avenue. The project is to be completed by May 1984.

Photo measures 6.75 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 06-20-1983.
