U.N.O. outvotes Russia: The climax of the stormy session of the U.N.O. security Council in New York - as the vote is taken. by 9 votes to 2, the Council Rejected the Soviet demand that the Council recognize the Iranian dispute as solved. After this vote the Soviet Delegate. Ambassador Gromyko walked out. Photo shows The historic voting L to R. Andre Gromyko, Russia, Hand Down, Sir Alexander Cadogan, great Britain, voting Dr. Edward Stettinius, U.S. Secretary of State James Byrnes, voting for U.S. ; Dr. Pedro Lfao Velloso, Brazil, voting and Mr. Trygve Lie, Council President. The vote insured immediate consideration of the Russian Iranian troubles by the council.
