Description
CAPTION: The Houses of Parliament, photographed from an autogiro used by Scotland Yard for traffic observation and control. British regulation provides that airplaines are permitted to fly over London only at altitudes high enough to enable them to glide to the City's outskirts in case of trouble, but the autogiro was allowed to fly close to the housetops and consequently was able to obtain an unual series of photographs showing the sights of London at close range from the air..

Photo is dated 10/19/1934 and measures 8 x 10 inches.
