1985 Press Photo Charles and Martha Walters, Square Dance Convention, Alabama

Birmingham, Alabama - Charles and Martha Walters of Fairfield are sitting out the dancing, seeing friends and soaking up the atmosphere, because Charles had surgery Monday and was only discharged Thursday. Seventy-seven-year-old Charles has been square dancing 20 years and got Martha hooked 7 years ago. They didn't want to miss the big National Square Dancing Convention, so they brought Charles a lawn chair to rest up from his operation.
