A red maple seedling tree from the White House was planted on the Girl Scout Roundup site here this morning by Mrs. Holton R. Price, Jr. (right), Girl Scout national president. The tree, a gift from Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson to the Roundup, was presented by Mrs. Johnson's niece, Mrs. Donald MacArthur (3rd from left). Present at the planting ceremony were (l to r): Miss Louise A. Wood, national executive director, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.; Miss Louise Shadduck, executive secretary, Idaho State department of commerce and development; Mrs. MacArthur; Col. James Brooks, project officer assigned to Roundup site preparation; Mrs. Price. Photo measures 7.75 x 9.75 inches. Photo is dated --none.
