Jennifer O'Neill is Ellen Jasper, daughter of a United States Senator, who chooses living with a nomadic tribe in Universal's "Caravans," an epic adventure-drama based on James Michener's best selling novel, filmed entirely on locations near the Iran-Afghanistan border. "Caravans," an Ibex Films, Incorporated/F.I.D.C.I. Production for Universal release, was produced by Elmo Williams and directed by James Fargo from a screenplay by Nancy Voyles Crawford & Thomas A. McMahon and Lorraine Williams. Starred are Anthony Quinn, Jennifer O'Neill, Michael Sarrazin, Behrooz Vosoughi, Christopher Lee, Barry Sullivan, Jeremy Kemp and Jospeh Cotten.
