Description
Queen Victoria's Private Rooms At Osborne House To Be Opened To The Public Next Year: Four rooms which have been locked, with drawn blinds, for 52 years are to be opened t the public next year by order of Queen. They are the private rooms at Osbor House, Isle of Wight, where Queen Victoria died in 1901. Ever since King Edward VII handed over the rest of Osborne House to the nation as a convalescent home for officers, the suite - the Queen's bedroom, dressing room, and the Prince Consort's sitting room - has remained exactly as it was when Queen Victoria died.
