Children's Science Pavilion for Ocean Exposition - The design for the Children's Science Pavilion to be built on the Japanese island of Okinawa for the International Ocean Exposition which will be held from July 20, 1975 until January 18, 1976. The pavilion presented by 47 companies of the Mitsui Group is made up of a series of parallel arches of glass, a glass roof, but no walls. Children will be able to see whirlpools, the tide ebbing and flowing, gentle waves of the sea turned into a raging typhoon and its abatement all created artificially by pumps and other devices. 24-4-74
