"Aquapolis' The Floating City for Expo '75 in Okinawa - The unique "floating city' called "Aquapolis built at Hiroshima for the International Ocean Exposition at Okinawa which opens on July 20, 1975 is ready to be towed to the island's Motobu Peninsula where it will serve as a pavilion for the six month long exposition. Work on "Aquapolis' commenced on October 1973, and its weight is 15,680 tons.
