LOS ANGELES -- SELECTED FOR RHODES SCHOLARSHIP -- Pat Haden, quarterback of the Southern California Rose Bowl-bound football team, has been selected for a Rhodes Scholarship for post graduate work at Oxford University in England. He says gaining the honor was tougher than anything he's met on the football field. Haden, an English major who won Academic All-American honors again this year, maintained a 3.74 grade point average on a scale of 4.0.
