Talking over the forthcoming benefit baseball game, Spokane Indians Field Manager Danny Ozark and Spokane Indians third baseman John Werhas recently visited Brother Bonaventure's House of Charity on Washington in Spokane. Benefit will be Spokane-Portland game on Aug. 30, fourth annual such game. The House of Charity does not participate in the United Crusade or any other organized fund-raising drive. The three brothers who are pictured here supervise the preparation of 10,000 meals monthly on average, and the House of Charity provides shelter for 1,500 each month. Also it is currently developing a 500-acre Mt. St. Charles rehabilitation farm near Elk, Wash. Here Brother Bonaventure, Franciscan Brother of Charity, meets Ozark and Werhas.
