Description
Listening to the New York Stock Exchange's new talking computer is Edward DeLaura, director of operational development and planning. The IBM computer's 126 word vocabulary is stored in drums at right. The exchange's Market Data system Qyotation Service, which can handle 300 telephone inquiries from brokers at one time and as many as 400,000 in a single day, went into service today.
