1980 Press Photo Construction on 20-story Seafirst Financial Center - spa25328

Work has started on top half of the 20-story Seafirst Financial Center tower on the block bounded by Riverside and Sprague, Howard and Wall. Spokane's tallest skyscraper is scheduled for completion late this year, when the adjacent Spokane & Eastern Building will be demolished to make room for a three-story ancillary building on the block. The project includes a new eight-story parking-retailing-commercial structure occupying the adjoining block on the south.
