It is nearly dinnertime and an irresistible aroma of fried potatoes is creeping around from the kitchen into the office of Alpha House where Director Jim Miller and Marry Morris, senior counselor, think about going home. It has been another tough,busy day at the drug rehabilitation residence in Northwest Portland, and a huge macrame web on Miller's wall, he admits, symbolizes the nature of the home.
