D'Amico who arises before dawn to sort the mail, hits the street at 945am and normally finishes his route about 3pm. He gets 2 days off, but doesn't always take them. "Tuesday was my day off, but we were shorthanded so I worked anyway. I felel I owe it to my patrons. I know the route and a substitute wouldn't."
