Description
"I knew when I married Neil that this is the life I'd be leading. Not necessarily that he would be involved in politics -- but that he would be involved." Margie Goldschmidt, wife of the new Portland city commissioner, had many years to assess the personality of the man she married five years ago. "My first real memory of Neil was when I was in ninth grade and he came around selling tickets to a high school production of 'Oklahoma!' in which he was playing Curley. My mother and I went. He made a wonderful Curley.." Margie had to overcome the handicap of being little sister to one Neil's friends, Roger Wood.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.

Photo is dated 11-06-1970.
