Credit - United and NEA Captain Ed Burke, Superintendent of Roosevelt Home at 28 East 20th Street, New York City, looking at a case of medals which were presented to the "Great American" during his career. Burke, a retired police officer, was cited by Roosevelt, when Police Commissioner, as being the most truthful officer on the force. He was promoted to sergeant and was known as the "Roosevelt Cop".
