Chief engineer JA Kuntz holds hammer and carllonic bell of the world's biggest and most powerful bell carillon installed atop the world's tallest building the Empire State Also shown is the power vacuum tube The carillon will ring out hymns and Christmas ccarols which will be heard over radius of 8 to 16 miles depending on the weather The instrument is electronically operated Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-19-1947.
