MAX GORDON, 56, OF CLEVELAND OHIO AND KNOXVILLE TENN, SURVIVOR OF THE WORST AIRLINE DISASTER IN THE HISTORY OF US COMMERCIAL AVIATION IS ATTENDED BY DR MARTIN LIVINGSTON AND NURSE ROSEMARY PEZZENTE AT ST JOHN'S HOSPITAL IN NEW YORK. GORDON AND HIS WIFE WERE ABOARD THE UNITED AIR LINES DC-4 THAT CRASHED AT LAGUARDIA FIELD ON MAY 29TH, BRINGING DEATH TO 39 PERSONS AND CRITICAL INJURY TO NINE. Photo measures 7 x 8.5 inches.
