Description
Two-year-old Drew Williams is spending his first Christmas at home this year, with his mother, Marge, father, John, and brother, Chad, 5. --- Drew Williams is approaching his third birthday, but this will be his first Christmas at home. Born with Spina Bifida, a congenital malformation that affects many body functions, Drew spent much of his young life at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin until he was released to the care of his parents and a home nurse in February. --- The Journal reported in May that the Williamses were unable to find Drew as many hours of nursing help as he needs for the multiple problems that require round-the-clock care. The story brought a number of inquiries from nurses, according to Williams. But unfortunately, because of the relatively low hourly rate they can afford to pay and their distant location, the Williamses have been unable to secure more care for Drew.

Photo measures 10 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-11-1988.
