Roger and Zona Platzek hope librarians and teachers see the benefits for developing imaginative and creative abilities with their Puppets 'N' Stuff marionettes. They displayed their products at the Wisconsin Library Association exhibition at MECCA this week. The couple started the business a year ago in Big Bend. The Platzeks, both accountants, hit on the idea after the company he worked for was sold and he was laid off as controller. the puppet business brought in just $20,000 in its first year, but broke even.
