Description

An aerial view showed the Parc Renaissance redevelopment project (center), which was deigned to blend into the older neighborhood around it. N. Sherman Blvd. (top) bounded the development to the west. Houses in a 32-acre corridor about N. 35th St. were razed in the 1960s for the Park West Freeway, which was never build.
