1976 Press Photo Yachtsman Eric Tabarly Treats Dupuytren's Disease

Description
Eric Tabarly, a notable French yachtsman, just had an operation on his right hand. He suffers from Dupuytren's disease, "a fibrosis retracting the fascia of palmar hand (a membrane between the tendon flexor and skin)" (Wikipedia). He is pictured sitting on his bed at the Bezons clinic with a bandage on his hand.
