Preparing for a new visit to the Antarctic.. New nylon suits for members: Men who are taking part in the 1956 Transantarctic Expedition-leaving this country in November-were to be seen this afternoon trying out their new improved Nylon 'Furleen' suits, at the expeditions headquarters in Victoria Street, London. Made of 100.p.c Nylon-with Nylin fur lining for both jacket and trousers-the suits are windprrof and weigh only about 10lbs. They are coloured a brilliant red. photo shows Squadron leader John Lewis of Kenilworth, Warwickshire wearing the new improved Nylon suit-in London today.
