Gold Bullion raid in London Gang get away with £750,000: A Royal Mint Refinery van was found abandoned in Twisden Road, Kentish Town, yesterday after a gang had overpowered its crew of three-temporairly blinding two of them with ammonia gas-and get away with £750,000 in gold bullion. The van was ambushed in Bowling, jewellery manufacturers. Photo shows The crew of the bullion van after yesterday's raid. They are Mr. Walter Clements (center), the driver of teh van and guards, Mr. Richard Brew (left), and Mr.John Chandler (right).
