Bank Robbery in Cologne: After the big search for the three gangsters who robbed a branch of the Deutsche Bank in Cologne on December 27th it came to dramatic ending yesterday. After the robbers-who got away with Dm 300,000 (100.000$) were hiding in a wood area at the German-French border near Saarbricken they were first seen by a police-helicopter on December 29th. After police surrounded the whole area it came to a confrontation between them and the gangsters. The boss of the robbers was badly injured in the fight and shot down by police officer Julius Gross. After that the two other gangsters were overhelmed by police and another hostage-a twentyone year old man-was set free. the stolen money was secured. Photo shows Police officer Julius cross who shot the gangster down.
