1972 Press Photo Chinese Emperors in Taiwan issued stamp

Chinese Emperors in Taiwan stamp Issue. In response to the call for Chinese cultural renaissance, the Postal Administration of Taiwan has borrowed from the Palace Museum in Taipei the priceless portraits of ancient Chinese rulers and sages for the designs of a new stamp issue. In all the set will comprise of eight stamps. Photo shows Four of the new stamps (top left) - Ruler Yao (2356 B.C) , (top right) - Ruler Sun (2255 B.C.) ,( bottom left) - Emperor Yu (2205 B.C.) of the Hsia Dynasty, (bottom right) - Emperor T'Ang (17~6 B.C.) of the Shang Dynasty.
