Description
Tennis at Wimbledon Rosie Casals runs into trouble over dress: Rosie Casals of America, who was beaten in yesterday's semi-final at Wimbledon by Billie Jean King, also of America, was warned after the match about the dress she were for the match, in white and purple with the letters VS woven into the fabric, which was designed by Teddy Tinling and the one she normally wears on the American Virginia Slims circuit. The Wimbledon rules state that dresses should be predominately white. Photo Shows Rosie Casals wearing the dress she was warned about - during her match against Billie Jean-King yesterday.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.

Photo is dated 7-6-1972.
