Description
Gang Seize Van With £120,000 In Bank Cash. A four-man gang seized a Security Express armoured van and its crew of three in the busy market centre in Romford and got away with £120,000 collected from branches of the National Provincial Bank. The raiders cut the van's radio link, knocked one of the crew unconscious, then held a gun at the driver's head and forced him to drive to a quiet side street where they unloaded the money. The security men were left bound and gagged in their van. Photo Shows: A Security Express cash-carrying van in Romford Police Station garage awaiting examination after the theft of £120,000.
